ACUPUNCTURE
Dr. Rehwald received his Fellowship in Acupuncture from the
International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2003.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a branch of traditional Chinese medicine that is over 3000 years old. It is based on the concept that the body’s vital energy travels in a series of clearly defined meridians or channels. Within these meridians there are points that correspond to organs and systems in the body. By inserting acupuncture needles, which are not much thicker than a human hair, to stimulate these points, the body’s energy can be encouraged back into balance to promote self-healing.
